Drain water from the bowl (if necessary)
A small amount of water can collect in the bottom of the filter bowl. The water can be removed automatically or manually.
The filter bowl automatically removes the water when enough water collects to engage the float mechanism inside the bowl.

To manually drain water from the bowl, remove the nut at the bottom of the bowl
with your hand.
To prevent damage to the plastic nut, do not use a wrench or other tool.
