System specifications on the data plate
The data plate on the plasma power supply shows two sets of ratings: one for the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and one for Hypertherm®.
- The HYP ratings are Hypertherm plasma power supply ratings. They show the capability of the system related to the internal testing done by Hypertherm.
- The IEC ratings are the minimum ratings that the system must get to meet the requirements of IEC standard 60974-1.
CSA and CE/CCC data plates have small differences.
